Format:
Use power point template found in the Assignments tab. Student may add images, backgrounds, etc. Keep in mind font should be large enough to read easily. Images, illustrations, diagrams should add to content, not distract. Creativity is a plus.

Slide 2-3 Introduction/Background/Body Biographical information should be included and other interesting facts regarding the scientist or their life’s work and/or accomplishments, however the project must include details of their contribution(s) to the field of Physics. Slide 3-4 Historical Context/Images Scientist do not work in a vacuum. Historical events may influence a scientist’s work. As well history may be impacted by scientific discovery. In this section the student is asked to answer questions relating to historical events that happened during the scientist’s life (question/s should be addressed in your own words).
Research Paper Sources:
Students must use a minimum of 4 sources for their project. Options for references include: course textbook, other textbooks, encyclopedia, video, article, or journal. Well researched or peer reviewed resources are preferred. Options: nature.com, National Institutes of Health, Britannica.com, most websites that end in .edu. Wikipedia may not be used. Check out the Dallas College library – you have access to a lot of journals, articles, books, etc. through the library.
