a) In the mystery of the woman who predicted his own death, the doctor argued that the woman had committed suicide through prescription drugs that induces heart attack. However, the prosecutor was familiar situations of heart attack.
b) In the mystery of the soil in the corpse’s throat and lungs, the doctor seemed to omit the expected conclusions in his report that victim had been buried alive. The doctor does not seem to feel the paperwork correctly (Erdogan 222).
c) The reaction is different from one case to another, since in the first case the doctor supporting claims that are unproven. In the second case, the doctor ignores facts in his reports.
d) I think the reaction was different due to his objectivity in understanding the different cases. The personal judgment of the two cases leads to the differences in his reaction.
2.
a) In terms of cinematic technique, both Once Upon a Time in Anatolia and Uzak films have strong lightning and similar settings that represent their themes. However, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia film had more characters who called for long shots unlike the medium shots in Uzak film.
b) In terms of themes and messages, Uzak film seems to present more practical theme such as unemployment. It also discusses the marriages problems facing the society. On the other hand, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia film does not seem to have a specific theme, but uses a story that delivers diverse messages on the perception of different persons in the society.

a. Similar to Gegen die Wand, the Yilmaz Guney’s films indicates a big gap between an individual and the society. This is because the characters are reflected to hide from certain societal values and cultures.
b. Gegen die Wand indicates a drift between an individual and the society. For instance, Sibel seems to be running away from his family to seeking from freedom unlike in Uzak film where there is harmony.
c. Unlike Yilmaz Guney’s and Gegen die Wand films, Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s films indicates a strong relationship between the individual and society. The films depicts people living together in the society with each other
4. Nuri Bilge Ceylan is not successful at the Turkish box office, but he has won many international awards than any other Turkish director. This is because works as the director, producer and writer of his films. This makes him more likely to win the various awards. In addition, he has produced movies filmed at the international scene.
