Of the renewable energies, nuclear power is by far the worst and most harmful form of energy creation that is considered better than fossil fuel. For the most part, it is because of the side effects of nuclear energy on the environment and the people that provides the foundation of its criticism. Instituting better management and monitoring standards on nuclear production allows countries to benefit the most from its use. Nuclear energy it requires a more significant economic and human costs to establish it and maintain operations when compared to others. One of the main reasons why nuclear energy has been dramatically adapted into most grids across the globe is because it has the potential to produce large amounts of power over a relatively small surface and this has dramatically spurred production. But more than this nuclear production needs expertise and continued cooperation between nations to ensure more considerable developments which ultimately introduces a geopolitical angle into the equations. Being an expensive source of energy generations, harmful to the environment, hard to dispose of the byproduct and inherently vulnerable to external attacks, nuclear power is not as helpful as the other forms of renewable energy and should, therefore, be reconsidered in the long term. It is nonetheless the best source of energy for developing nations who need constant access to electricity at a relatively cheaper cost.
Nuclear power’s eco-friendliness comes from the fact that there is less carbon based pollution of the environment and a large amount of electricity in the end of the process.
