 Instructions After reading the first chapters and watching the videos write an “integrative” reflective response. In other words: What did you learn? Have you ever considered conceptual ideologies as being the foundation of the social policies we have at any one time? What did you agree/disagree with? If you disagree with with any of the material (and it is OK to disagree) what are your reasons for disagreeing? How does this material jive with what you have learned in other classes? How did the History Unit inform you regarding where we are today? Because this is a “writing intensive” course, the writing of this assignment will let me know where everyone is in terms of: critical thinking the mechanics of writing: grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. Hint: when you use SpellCheck it will catch many errors. The caveat is that sometimes Spellcheck will offer a suggestion that is not correct within your paper so you still have to think. This is not a research paper but if you want to use a quote or some specific information, you have to include an in-text citation as well as a Reference page. All citations should be in proper APA/MLA form. About 1000 words – 3-4 pages double-spaced. Use “Word Count” to guide you. During the years of having this assignment I have been very impressed with the comments of the students so you have a high benchmark to research!
