Select an organizational problem of some concern to the field of Human Resource
Development, which you have identified, is present in the work environment. Utilize
principles, theories and research findings, which apply to the problem, review the
literature to determine what approaches and strategies have been used previously,
evaluate their effectiveness in terms of long and short-range consequences, and select
one of the approaches as most desirable. Subsequently, based on the synthesized
research, create guidance for implementation of proposed solution/s to address an
organizational problem to improve the status quo in organizations.
Practicum Project
Submit a final project paper, which will include
A. All the elements of the research-based project proposal;
B. A comprehensive review of the literature synthesizing existing perspectives on the
chosen problem and presenting alternative sides of the issue;
C. research-based conclusions and recommendations;
D. A detailed description of the implementation of the proposed solution/s in a real
organizational setting.
A minimum of 20 scholarly references must be utilized in the final project paper. The
project paper must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological
Association, Sixth Edition guidelines.
