Does Lifestyle And Diet Affect Our Genes?

In “Changing Our Genes: How Trauma, Bullying, and Royal Jelly Alter Our Genetic Destiny”, Sharon Moalem talks about factors that can change and affect your genetics, through a process called epigenetics. Human genetics are unique components of the human body that make up the physical, emotional, and behavioral attributes of each and every person. They dictate the way we act, react, and what we are capable of doing. Genes are important in terms of making humans different from one another, but surprisingly are controllable in some aspects. This brings up the question: Do your lifestyle and habits such as diet or the way you treat others affect your genes?
