This discussion is based on the video (or article) featuring Hill and Lineback in Session 12.
Based on the Chapters 13 in both textbooks, your professional experience, your reading/viewing
of Hill and Lineback’s work, and any additional information you would like to include, answer the
following questions in a written or video post.
Identify five bases of power, and provide an example of each.
Thinking about the Milgram and Zimbardo studies, do you think you would behave the same or
differently in those situations? Why or why not?
In your own words, define operational, developmental, and strategic networks.
Assess your own networks. In which of the three network types are you the strongest? Which
of the three network types is most challenging for you to develop at this stage of your career?
