The case presentation will draw from information about the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of medications, as well as the FDA approval status of the drugs, psychodiagnostics, psychotherapeutic approaches, and the art of medication management within the context of integrated medical and behavioral health care. Include specific factors pertinent to the drug, including potential adverse drug responses and medication compliance issues in this discussion. Compare the utility of the chosen drugs with alternative forms of therapy. If appropriate, discuss complementary treatments. Present the current literature regarding the integration of psychotherapy with the medications.
