Assume for purposes of this motion that the Roberts case is a state court case based in King County Superior Court and that Elyse Roberts and her co-workers worked for the City Attorney’s office in Seattle. The remaining facts of the Roberts case remain the same. Assume that the years referenced in the materials are such that Elyse Roberts is currently 26 years old in 2022. You can use the dates referenced in materials to avoid confusion. For purposes of the motion, assume that Elyse Roberts served her lawsuit by personally handing a copy of the Summons and Complaint to Frances Troy.
