An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles

An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. Each citation is followed by a brief descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation.

The Process
1. Locate and record citations to scholarly journal articles. Try to find an article with hypotheses.

1. Briefly examine and review the actual items by reading the abstract and skimming text. Then choose those works that provide a variety of perspectives on your topic.

Please pick three articles with hypotheses related to your team project topic. Your article should be published in a peer-reviewed journal, recently published in the last five years (since 2016), and has more than 10-15 citations.

1. Cite the book, article, or document using the APA style.

Author_Last, Initials, (Year). Article title. Article Publication, Volume(issue), page_begin-page_end. doi:XX.XXXXX or Retrieved from journal URL
(Example) Saks, A. M. (2006). Antecedents and consequences of employee engagement. Journal of Managerial Psychology, 21(7), 600-619. doi: 10.1108/02683940610690169

1. Write a concise annotation that summarizes the central theme and scope of the book or article. Include:

1) Research question
2) Hypotheses or research model
3) Methods (research design/measures/sampling approach), and
4) Major results,
5) Your thoughts/implications

You can find information from an abstract and manuscript. (For example, hypotheses are usually located in the manuscript in the section of Literature review, Theoretical framework, etc.
If you have difficulties finding a paper with the hypothesis, please include “quantitative study” with your research topic. (For example, “employee well-being” “quantitative study”.

Please submit the assignment as a WORD file.
