Moreover, the software solution helps the business to create profit and loss statements as well as balance sheets so as to monitor the business’ financial health. Zoho Books is quite cheap as its pricing starts at 9 dollars per month. There is no free version of the software, but a free trial is offered. Zoho Books are associated with several advantages which include automation of bank feeds (gets rid of data entry, making it possible to import all credit card and bank transactions), sending and tracking invoices, good integration (businesses are able to expand the functionality from their own platform), automation of workflows, saving of time, and the solution is inexpensive (Chaudhry, 2017). The main drawback of Zoho Books is that it has no payroll features and no payroll integrations, either (Chaudhry, 2017).

The other recommended software solution is Xero. This is accounting software that supports accounts payable, journal entries, expense tracking, management of fixed assets, bank reconciliation, and offers more than 55 customizable reports (Mantovani, 2018). Other features of the software include tracking of time, budgeting, project management, inventory, class tracking etc. Xero provides 3 pricing plans that range between 9 dollars and 60 dollars monthly. Some of the advantages of Xero is that it is easy to use, is affordable, provides automated daily bank feeds, and can easily be accessed from anywhere, anytime (Mantovani, 2018). The drawbacks of Xero are poor customer support, and the solution is slow especially with high numbers of transactions.
Improving customer relationship management represents the greatest opportunity to contribute to the company’s ongoing success. As such, there is the need for a solution that aids the business to manage communications with its present and potential clients. In this regard, the recommended solution is known as HubSpot CRM. This solution is utilized in organizations to manage lead flow, deals, marketing efforts and support tickets. As such, HubSpot offers tools for social media marketing, customer support, management of content, and web analytics (Wisner, Tan & Leong, 2018). In addition, HubSpot integrates with Google Calendar, Google Drive, Windows Outlook, Gmail, and Apple Mail. The cost of HubSpot CRM is between $50 and $120/user per month. This solution has several benefits; it is easy to use, and is automated (Wisner, Tan & Leong, 2018). The main drawbacks of HubSpot CRM are that it lacks customization and reporting is hard to use.
