• Discuss contributions you have made to your organization through your internship.
Presentation Requirements*
Develop a PowerPoint presentation and present it to your supervisor (other colleagues are also
welcome to view the presentation).
1. Develop an 8-10 minute power point presentation.
a. Include visual appeal throughout with images and graphics.
b. Avoid text-heavy slides (typically no more than 8-10 lines of text per slide).
c. You may omit or modify company confidential content.
d. Include all assigned elements in page 2. Also include detailed notes in the slides you
submit to your instructor to provide the full context of your presentation.
2. Deliver the presentation to your supervisor in person.
a. Dress appropriately for a professional presentation.
b. Strive to develop a presentation that you could potentially link to your own
professional website as a resume piece.
3. Upload your power point slides via the Mizzou Online course page.
Your instructor will grade this assignment based on the presentation content and completion. Your
supervisor will also provide feedback on your presentation delivery in assignment 6 (the supervisor
evaluation).
*If you have a unique case, such as confidential company information that cannot leave the
organization, or you are already required to do a presentation for your internship, please work with
your BA4500 instructor to determine the best way to complete this assignment.

Presentation Outline
Provide an overview of your internship position and responsibilities, including:
PRESENTATION SLIDES
• Initial internship objectives and timeline
• Colleagues who helped you achieve your objectives (titles or pseudonyms are OK if they
prefer actual names not be used)
• Processes used to complete projects and tasks
• Final deliverables (report, project, plan, etc.)
• Next steps: What follow-up or additional work is needed once you leave? How will efforts be
implemented?
• Your impact: How did your contributions impact the organization or its stakeholders?
• What you learned during the internship
o How have you improved as a professional (skills, experiences, awareness, etc.)?
• Positively-worded, constructive suggestions for the organization
o Offer suggestions for increasing the organization’s effectiveness by building off of its
strengths.
o State what works well and how it can be even better.
o Do NOT just point out a problem. Offer solutions or ideas for improvement or
leveraging opportunities to enhance value.
• Provide your unique insights as a college student. Discuss how the organization could
strengthen ties college students on campus for job and internship recruiting, marketing, etc.
Consider all aspects, including on campus and online.
POST-PRESENTATION SLIDE(S)
• After presenting to your supervisor and before submitting to the course webpage, add 1-2
additional slides at the end to debrief this exercise. Answer the following questions:
o How effective was your presentation delivery in terms of confidence, body language,
vocal delivery?
o How was the information received by your audience?
o What would you change if repeated this exercise?
