Balancing School and Life – My Quality of Life Self-Care Plan. The purpose of developing this Plan is to set a framework and a plan to maintain wellness and to stay motivated and engaged throughout your Program. Doing this will help you achieve success during your coursework and as a professional nurse.

The Project’s goal is to help you become more self-aware and reflective in order to identify personal self-care strategies that will boost your energy and help you manage your stress. The Project will allow you to learn how this is done because you will be doing similar work with clients during the Program and assisting them in the same way as a professional nurse.

Share in a 2 – 3 page paper, the following:

Re-look at your Quality of Life Self-Care Wheel scores. Have they changed? If so, in what ways.

Think about your current levels of tension and stress. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest level, what is your score? Now think about the strategies you identified. Describe how well you have put them into action. If you have not been able to implement them, identify why and what you can do to overcome this.

Identify any new strategies that you think will “fit” better and describe why.

For this discussion you will be examining ethical nursing practice. In three to five paragraphs answer the following questions.
Ethical nursing practice involves adhering to a set of principles and values that guide the nursing profession. These principles and values include respect for the dignity and autonomy of patients, commitment to providing high-quality care, and upholding the public trust.

In practice, ethical nursing involves making decisions and taking actions that are consistent with these principles and values. This can include respecting a patient’s right to make decisions about their own care, protecting patient confidentiality, and advocating for patients’ rights and best interests.

Ethical nursing also involves recognizing and addressing ethical dilemmas that may arise in the course of nursing practice. This can include situations where there may be conflicts between the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice. In such situations, nurses may need to consult with colleagues, seek guidance from professional organizations, or consult with ethics committees to determine the best course of action.

Ethical nursing practice is essential to ensuring that the nursing profession provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
