Christian Concepts: Promoting Positive Classroom Management
As a Christian, I have a belief that it is the responsibility of people to help others out of their behavioral unconformities. Christianity teaches that people ought to have virtues rather than vices. Those individuals who are considered errands in the society are associates of the evil. This makes it undeniable for Christians who have a background that they are the ambassadors of heaven and that they have been given the responsibility to reconcile the world to God (Ackerman, 2008). Apostle Paul in his epistle to 2 Corinthians 5 says that Christians should be as though God was beseeching the world to reconcile with him through them implying that they should behave well to teach others the standards of the heaven.
The Great Commission in its immediate context was a set of instructions that Jesus gave to his disciples to make disciples of all nations in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Its application is extended to all Christians today, as explained Klauber, Manetsch and Lutzer (2008). It calls upon all Christians to help others to become disciples. Being a disciple would mean that they change their bad conducts as they renounce their earthly lives to become one with Christ. The same idea is echoed in Luke 6:40 that every disciple ought to be perfect as his Master. Nonetheless, the no disciple is above their Master meaning people should respect their seniors. On the other hand, Paul in his epistle to Christians in Philippi admonishes his follows to do whatsoever they have learnt, seen, heard and received from him so that the God of peace could be with them. Clearly, the duty of a Christian is to teach the world the behavior of Christ and behave in the same manner.
