Global mindset combines an openness to and awareness of diversity across cultures and markets with a propensity and ability to see common patterns across countries and markets. It is the ability to understand information, culture, and norms all over the world. The ability enables individuals to conceptualize how to make in impact in all environments. My intellectual attribute has enabled me to develop global mindset. This trait is explained as the ability to understand and process new information. I am able to learn more about people, their culture and in the same scenario appreciate our diversity. Effective listening has also helped me to nature my global mindset.
I also have the desire to know more about other people culture. The ability to analyze and look into unexpected trends has helped in the nurturing of global mindset. Ability to analyze different opportunities and risks available in life has helped and accelerated the growth of my global mindset.
While still following my school program, attending of motivation and innovation seminars will help in improving and further development of my global mindset. Innovation seminars provides forums where one is able to learn the shortcoming of other people business ideas, problems they face, and the risks and from that one can able to get an opportunity to invent his or her own idea or further develop the idea by providing solutions( Paul,2000).
Interacting with people from different cultures and parts of the world and keenly watching, learning, and understanding their perspective will have a great impact in further growth of my global mindset (Gupta, & Govindarajan, 2002). By keenly observing the environmental surrounding, I will be in a better position to realizing the gap between our culture with that of foreigners and the reasons why the gap was created or existed. Openness of communication and interpretation will also have a great impact in my development.
