Discuss how the information from the article is used in the Health Promotion Plan. Refrain from using first person statements and “the article states” statements. Instead, cite the authors name. For example, Smith (2022) states that understanding health promotion concepts will allow you to improve client outcomes.
Healthy People 2030
Discuss the Leading Health Indicator (LHI) that applies to this target population and health problem. Discuss statistical significance of this problem, as cited by Healthy People.
Health Promotion Discussion Write a short summary of the article’s most important points and findings. Include numbers to show how important the topic is. Talk about how the Health Promotion Plan makes use of the information in the article. Don’t say anything in the first person or say “the article says.” Instead, give the name of the author.
