The art of influence
There are various vital elements in a persuasive message. It includes logos, ethos, and pathos, which create a force of influence on the recipient. Logos is based on the strong point of the argument at hand. On the other hand, ethos is the credibility level of the speaker, and pathos is about the communicator’s power to move his or her audience emotionally.
Furthermore, in the content of the message, the logos refers to the logic and reasoning behind the argument. The speaker must make sure everything he or she says fits together. In simple terms, the speech can create a coherent argument or statement from the start to the conclusion as each point said builds on previous points to create a convincing argument.
Additionally, the ethos element involves the ethics, character, and believability of the speaker. It increases the speaker’s credibility, making it much easier for the listeners to accept the arguments presented. Therefore, the listeners might take up any recommendations made to them seriously and act on them. Similarly, the last element of persuasion is pathos which involves the emotional aspects of the speech presented. It is the most important element other than logos and ethos because it determines how much people can be moved emotionally (Vincent 2). Hence, because emotions are usually strong, they can influence them to alter their thoughts and take a suggested action.
With these critical elements of persuasion in mind, it becomes easier to add other communication skills such as observation and active listening. Besides, building a connection should be the first step in having a fruitful and influential interaction. Similarly, the speaker should learn the background information of the clients to help them understand how they think and communicate. Proposing a win-win idea to clients is more beneficial and likely to influence them faster. Essentially, it connects and sells value to the client’s goals and ambitions. Mastering the art of influence also involves being flexible as the speaker communicates with multiple people. Flexibility is crucial because people vary regarding their culture, personalities, exposure, and experiences. The speaker must be assertive and show some authority and evidence to back up ideas, always be ready for questions, and respond logically.

In this second episode, a cobot is a robot designed to work alongside human beings. The most significant advantage of collaborative robots is that they are more accurate and consistent than humans. Besides, robots and collaborative robots at work improve process optimization and productivity because errors are minimal, and the employees get more time to attend to other things. Also, including cobots and robots in the workplace significantly improves employee morale because the machines support their work and reduce boredom. They perform monotonous work and make the employee more involved (Pauliková 10). Hence, working in an understaffed nursing home, especially with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, these robots can significantly help relieve the workload and make employees’ experience at work better and worthwhile.
Conclusion
Concisely, this discussion extensively evaluates the laws of persuasion and the importance of mastering them. For instance, the reciprocity tenet entails doing what is good for others because they shall also do the same. Consistency or commitment is critical, especially in marketing products sellers try to commit their clients in different ways, such as signing newsletters. Also, the liking principle and is based on similarities since most people prefer to buy similar orders of the people they like. Therefore, from an economic perspective, the first podcast episode is congruent and accurate with the key pillars of influence to increase market conversions. Also, the robot apocalypse is spot-on, especially by outlining the significant positive impact robots and cobots bring to the workplace. More robots should be cobots should be installed and used.
