The effects of divorce on children and families

The effects of divorce on children and families
The topic that I chose for this paper is the effects of divorce on children and families. I selected this topic because I can relate to it. My parents divorced when I was young, and it had a negative effect as I was growing up. My experience cannot be said for others whose parents have gone through a divorce. So, I wanted to shed light on the diverse ways that children have experienced life growing up with their parents being divorced and how it impacted their lives. This topic is relevant to college students because not all divorces end when children are at an early age, divorce can happen when the child is in college. This can potentially have a negative effect on the child’s education and their ability to focus or concentrate on homework and classes.
