Due date: 6th October, 2019 – 11.55 PM – Group report & submission of presentation documents via Canvas.

Commencing Week 9- Group presentations (in-class)

Length: 2000 word written report (Word count excludes executive summary and appendices), and around 15 power point slides for presentation.

Worth: 35% (20% for Written Report and 15% for Presentation)

Working in small groups of 4 (to be allocated), you will explore topics covered under: ‘The Core of Critical Approaches’.

Your group is expected to undertake the following tasks:

Choose a topic, as the focus for this assignment. This can be any theme or point of interest within the following:
Organisational misbehavior
Management of stress
Individual well-being
Find a relevant video clip to present as part of your presentation (such as a short segment from a film, or a short YouTube video) in which this topic or theme is evident, and address the following questions:
o What are the major themes in your clip?
o Identify and explain the consequences, impacts and effects of managerial prerogative choosing relevant examples from your video.
o How does this example translate into a workplace context?
o As Managers, do you have choices in relation to your own (self) perspective that you would like to address when managing individual behaviours? What are the (managerial) implications?
o How might your group go about managing a similar situation in future?
o For your written report, use a minimum of 12-refereed Journal articles.
If needed, additional instructions will be provided to students in class regarding oral presentations. It is your responsibility to check the due date of your oral presentation.
